Since winning the Slalom at the Jr World Championships in 2002, Steve has become one of the fastest rising stars on US Ski Team. Better known as a speed skier, Steve proved that he will be one to reckon with to compete for the overall title on the World Cup tour in just a few short years. Since 2002, Steve has gone on to win Nor-Ams, Europa Cups and compete in World Cups. For the 2004-05 season, Steve has earned the start right to compete in all the downhills on the World Cup tour. His first full season on the tour will be an exciting one and Steve has many great expectations of himself. When he is not skiing or training, Steve has been known to help others. Recently, during some time off, Steve traveled to Haiti in support of the Child’s Hope Foundation to help build an orphanage.
